All these Android and iPhone phones will not be able to run

WhatsApp after today WhatsApp will stop working on iPhone and Android phones, and we will see which devices will be affected by this complex situation.

WhatsApp is one of the most used mobile messaging applications in the world. Millions of users send messages through this app every day, but all of this can change overnight. As of today, the list of iPhone and Android models that will not be compatible with WhatsApp has been expanded.

It's clear that the phones Apple introduced a week ago still have years of compatibility, as do the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The same goes for Android phones, including the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro that were introduced around this time a year ago.

There are many mobile phones that will be left without WhatsApp, although the truth is that in the case of Apple's iPhone it is more worrying. Users who have Apple phones usually take several years to renew their cell phones, which means that today there are people who own an iPhone 5 or iPhone 5C as their main mobile phone.

The above two Apple mobile devices will be left without WhatsApp because the necessary requirement for the messaging app to work is that they have iOS 12 as their operating system. None of the iPhone 5 or iPhone 5C phones can update to this version because they are many years behind.

When compatibility with WhatsApp disappears, iPhone and Android mobile phones will no longer be able to send messages, audios, or any type of content in the messaging app.

On the other hand, any device running Android 4.1 as a minimum will be able to continue using WhatsApp. Of course, with the arrival of Android 13, this may change in the next month and the minimum requirement is a newer version of Android. We will be attentive in any case to be able to inform you as soon as possible if the situation changes.
